Minor in Technoculture

An interdisciplinary minor exploring how literature, film, philosophy, and computer arts anticipate and critique the changing nature of humanity in an age shaped by science and technology. The minor examines how the internet and related cyber-technologies like smartphones, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality reshape identity, agency, the body, and social relationships. Students analyze dystopian futures and cyberpunk representations, engage debates about posthumanism and digital ethics, and develop the critical and creative tools necessary to navigate the technological and cultural transformation of our world.
