About
Dr. Marion Conteh, DNP, MSN, APRN, ANP-BC, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor at the 91女神 School of Nursing. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a concentration in Healthcare Systems Leadership and completed her advanced practice training at New York University. In addition to her nursing degrees, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development. Dr. Conteh brings extensive clinical experience across diverse healthcare environments, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, school-based health settings, PACE programs, home care, and community and public health organizations.
At 91女神, Dr. Conteh contributes to the academic preparation and professional development of both undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She teaches in the graduate nursing program, including Advanced Pathophysiology, Advanced Pharmacology, and Primary Care I, and also teaches Community Health Nursing in the undergraduate curriculum. Through her teaching and mentorship, she emphasizes the integration of clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and population-focused care to prepare future nurses and nurse practitioners to address complex health needs within diverse communities.
Dr. Conteh鈥檚 professional interests center on population health management and the social determinants of health, with a particular focus on improving health outcomes among underserved and vulnerable populations. She is committed to advancing evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical care delivery. As a nurse leader and practice change advocate, Dr. Conteh promotes innovative care models that strengthen patient engagement, support preventative care, and improve health system responsiveness to community needs.
In addition to her academic and clinical roles, Dr. Conteh remains actively engaged in community and professional service. She serves as a Board Member of RAIN, an organization dedicated to supporting older adults and promoting community-based aging services. She also volunteers as a health consultant for the Rising Ground Early Start Program鈥檚 Health Advisory Team, contributing expertise to initiatives that support the health and well-being of children and families. In her local community, she participates in the Stewardship and Parish Committee of her church and regularly volunteers at community food pantries.
Dr. Conteh maintains a strong commitment to academia, service, leadership, and community engagement.
